WHAT IS HEALING

Healing also known as Spiritual Healing is the channeling of healing energy from it’s spiritual source, to someone who needs it.
The channel is usually a person whom we call a healer and the energy is transferred to the patient through the hands of the healer.
The important distinction here is that the healing does not come from the healer but through the healer.
The word spiritual does not refer to belief in any organized religion, rather it refers to the divine nature of the energy, which the healers agree comes from one eternal, invisible, intelligent source. The healing energy from this source is available to everyone, irrespective of their beliefs.
Healers see the body, mind and spirit as one interdependent unit and believe all three must work in harmony to maintain health.
A problem at any level, be it a broken leg or a feeling of hopelessness, needs healing to restore the balance of the whole person. Sickness often begins in the mind or at the deeper level of the spirit and it is often here that healing begins.
When the healer lays his/her hands on you, he/she acts as a conductor or channel for the healing energy which he/she believes has the ‘intelligence’ to go where it is needed.
Healers say that we all have the power to heel, if we choose to develop it. The motivation to heal is unconditional love and the only requirement is that the healer is open to receiving and channeling healing energy.

Are You Interested In Joining The Healing Group

We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday each month at 8:00pm until 10:00pm. We do not meet in August.
Cost is £2.00 per session.

We do encourage all our members to become Probationary Healers with the Sussex Healers Association and work towards a Full Healer Membership, BUT if you just want to come along and enjoy healing without joining the Association - you are very welcome to do so.
